Seth Coleman is coming back to Illinois.

Coleman made that announcement Tuesday night, writing on X, “I’m back.”

The Melbourne, Florida native was one of the well-known defenders in Aaron Henry’s unit. Coleman finished last season with 50 total tackles (37 solo), nine TFLs, six sacks and four pass breakups.

His best game this season was arguably in the win over Maryland where he recorded three of his six sacks and six solo tackles.

Over the course of his collegiate career, Coleman has 12.5 sacks, 130 total tackles, 20.5 TFLs, and one forced fumble.

He was also an All-Big Ten honorable mention in 2022 by the media, while earning preseason All-Big Ten third team by PFF prior to this campaign.

A big addition for Henry’s unit in 2024.
