For the first time in his NFL career, Chase Brown found the endzone.

The former Illini star scored on a 54-yard catch and run on a screen pass in the first quarter of the Bengals’ game on Sunday against the Colts.

This is Brown’s second big game in less than a week, after he went for 61 yards in the Bengals win on Monday against the Jaguars.

Brown was a fifth-round pick by the Bengals in the 2023 Draft. In 2022, he was one of the best running backs in college football, rushing for 1,643 yards — which ranked 4th nationally — and adding 13 total touchdowns.

On Monday, another Illini great from the 2022 squad will have the spotlight, when Tommy DeVito starts for the 4-8 Giants in a primetime game against the Packers.
