Illinois’ game next Thursday at Michigan has been postponed as the Wolverines continue their return to play after the program’s pause.
Michigan isn’t expected to play again until next Saturday at Wisconsin.
Michigan, who is ranked No. 4 in the nation, hasn’t played since Jan. 22. Shortly after that, the athletic department shut down all sports activity due to a recommendation from the state’s health department following several strains of a COVID variant found inside the department.
Right now, Michigan is the top team in the Big Ten standings. Illinois sits second.
