We’re going to get The Game.
Illinois at Michigan has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 2 at 6 p.m. on ESPN. Right now, both teams are in the top-five of the AP poll, and this game could decide who wins the Big Ten regular season title. The Illini, to still have a reasonable shot at that, need to win out.
The game was originally postponed after Michigan extended its pause following a COVID break.
The Illini also have had their Feb. 24 game against Nebraska rescheduled and pushed one day back to Feb. 25.
It’s going to be a busy two weeks for Illinois leading up to the Big Ten and NCAA tournaments, with Minnesota (Saturday), Michigan State (Tuesday), Nebraska (Thursday), Wisconsin (Feb. 27), Michigan (March 2), Ohio State (March 6).
Oh, and in case you missed it, the NCAA Tournament will allow 25% capacity at all games.
