Illinois moves up to No. 5 in latest AP Poll

Two more chances this week.

An overtime win at Nebraska won’t drop you in the rankings... But it will move you up a spot!

The Illini handled business in their only matchup last week and moved up a spot to No. 5 in Monday’s top 25 AP Poll.

Fellow Big Ten foes Michigan, Ohio State, Iowa and Wisconsin checked in at No. 3, 4, 11 and 21, respectively.

Illinois will get two more opportunities to bolster its conference record this week: at home against Northwestern on Tuesday and on the road at Minnesota on Saturday.
