Remember Ayo Dosunmu?
LOL that’s a dumb question, of course you remember our sweet prince.
The Bulls picked up in the second round of the NBA Draft, and we all were like, “That’s a steal, but that’s alright. They’ll appreciate him.”
I even wrote about it.
Well, it’s Oct. 10, the Bulls have played three preseason games, and while it’s not clear how big of a role Dosunmu will play as a rookie with the team, it is clear he’s still got it, and he’s going to stick around.
And no one should be surprised.
Just look at this collection of clutch baskets as the Bulls held off the Cavs for a 102-101 win Sunday night.
Dosunmu only played seven minutes. but he got up seven shots, made four of them and had nine total points.

And his teammates respect the hell out of him, like All-Star Zach LaVine.
Zach LaVine on Ayo Dosunmu: "He doesn't have any fear at all."

Again, seven minutes in a preseason game doesn’t bode well for Ayo getting starter minutes at all in the 2021-22 season, but there’s no reason the Bulls can’t count on him for a few minutes every game to give some rest to the team’s guard-heavy lineup.
But knowing Ayo, he’ll make the most of it. And he’ll make us proud.
And NONE of us should be surprised.
