Illinois’ next scheduled contest is Ohio State at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Nebraska played as recently as Sunday night, in the game before Illinois’ on Big Ten Network. In the contest against Indiana, the Cornhuskers lost 84-76. Nebraska’s game prior to that one on Jan. 5 was postponed against Purdue.
Illinois and Nebraska are scheduled to also play on Feb. 24 in Champaign.
The Big Ten said prior to the start of the season that it hopes its scheduling format allows for teams to make up games that are postponed, with the hope that every team plays 20 league games. Penn State has also paused team activities, and hasn’t played yet in 2021.
We will have further updates when they become available.
