And we’re off.

NCAA Football: Northwestern at Illinois Patrick Gorski-USA TODAY Sports

Just an hour after the Big Ten announced Illinois will open the season on Sept. 3 against Ohio State, the Illini announced they will start training camp TOMORROW.

According to a news release, all practices will be closed for fans and media until further notice. Officials said those policies are subject to change.

Highlights of camp will be available on the team’s website and social media pages.

Here’s also an update on ticket info.

State of Illinois Restore Illinois Phase 4 guidelines allow for attendance up to 20 percent of stadium capacity.
