Just eight days before tipping off in Columbus, House of ‘Paign is still making additions.
According to a tweet from the Illinois alumni team Friday morning, former DePaul star Billy Garrett is joining the roster.
Excited to add @BGarrett_5 to the team! Another in-state guy with NBA experience. The Morgan Park & DePaul Alum brings size at the guard spot, playmaking ability and a high Basketball IQ! Welcome, Billy! pic.twitter.com/J6h7jC64Sb

Garrett, who went to Morgan Park for high school, played for the Blue Demons from 2013-17, coinciding with the time of most of the guys on ‘Paign. The 25-year-old has bounced around in Europe for the past year after playing for a short stretch with the New York Knicks.
The Basketball Tournament gets going next Saturday on July 4. House of ‘Paign plays the tournament’s third game against Auburn alumni War Tampa.
