We don’t know much about Illinois’ 2020-21 non-conference slate yet, but we learned of a few games in the 2021-22 schedule Wednesday afternoon.
According to CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein, Illinois, Arkansas, Cincinnati and Kansas State will headline the 2021 Hall of Fame Classic Kansas City.

The 2020 Hall of Fame Classic, which features TCU, Cal, Northwestern and South Carolina, is scheduled for Nov. 23 to 24 at the Sprint Center, and the 2021 Classic will be Nov. 22 to 23, 2021.
Assuming he’s still there after next season, the matchup we’d love to see here is the Illini and the Wildcats, pitting Bruce Weber against the program he led to the Final Four. Cincinnati is always pretty good, too, and Arkansas would definitely be more valuable than a cupcake like Lindenwood.
Still don’t know much about this season’s non-conference slate, but we should learn more soon.
