Illinois added another veteran wide receiver to its 2020 roster on Thursday night.
New Mexico State graduate Desmond Dan committed to Illinois, announcing his decision on Twitter.

Dan started 11 games for the Aggies last year, finishing fourth on the team in receptions (37) and receiving yards (491). He had three receiving touchdowns, and a season-high seven catches and 85 yards against Liberty.
The Muskogee, Oklahoma, native, stands at 6-foot-3, 190 pounds. He was a two-star prospect out of high school with offers also from Central Oklahoma and Navy.
The Illini have a lot of weapons on the outside, led by Josh Imatorbhebhe, but we all know Rod Smith’s offense can use as many weapons as it can get.
No word yet on when the Illini will be able to welcome Dan, with activities canceled for months.
