Illinois keeps receiving commitments from transfers, basically a Lovie Smith special.
The latest comes from former Mississippi State offensive lineman Brevyn Jones, who announced his commitment to Illinois on Thursday afternoon via Twitter.

Jones decided to transfer from MSU just days after new head coach Mike Leach posted a now-deleted tweet of a meme of a woman knitting a noose for her husband during self-quarantine.
He told reporters he was considering leaving the program before Leach’s tweet after he was brought to the team by former head coach Joe Moorhead.
A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Jones spent last season sitting. 247 said he was a three-star prospect out of high school with offers from schools including Florida Atlantic and Tulane.
Jones seems to be immediately eligible to play, adding another boost to a strong part of this year’s Illini team — the offensive line.
