There will be no recruiting visits to campus for Illinois Football for the time-being, according to a tweet from head coach Lovie Smith.
As a precautionary measure to protect the safety of coaches, players, staff, and the community amid the spread of COVID-19, we have cancelled all visits to campus. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Smith said all visits to campus have been canceled, but mentioned nothing about the delay or cancelation of spring football, which is slated to begin March 23.
The Big Ten Conference canceled the Big Ten Tournament due to the coronavirus pandemic earlier Thursday, while other conferences, like the ACC, have already canceled all spring sports through March 30.
