Nicholson is 5-foot-11 and 170 pounds. According to 247, he’s a three-star athlete, but the Illini’s posts on Twitter say he is being recruited as a defensive back.
The Jacksonville native continues the Illini’s Florida pipeline and also had an offer from Florida Atlantic. He was recruited by Keynodo Hudson.
Another player many expected Illinois to sign during the National Signing Day on Wednesday — WR Jadon Thompson — committed to Cincinnati on Tuesday.
