Ayo Dosunmu named Big Ten Co-Player of the Week

It’s Ayo’s second accolade this month.

Ayo is Big Ten Player of the Week again.

For the second time this month, the junior guard has earned the honor. He’s sharing it this week with Marcus Carr.

Dosunmu averaged 30 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds in Illinois’ wins over Penn State and Indiana. In the Penn State game, Dosunmu became the first Illini in 23 years to have back-to-back 30-point games.

Illinois moved up to No. 15 in the AP poll after the wins.
