We have a schedule!
The Big Ten — with a late Wednesday afternoon news dump — released the full 20-game slate.
Illinois will play Rutgers, Iowa, Michigan State, Michigan, Purdue and Maryland once.
The Illini will play Minnesota, Penn State, Indiana, Northwestern, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Ohio State twice.
Illinois will open the conference slate at home against Minnesota on Dec. 15 — two days after the conference gets going. The Illini aren’t involved in the four games on Christmas Day. They finish off the regular season on March 6 at Ohio State — that’s the same place Illinois had its last road game last season on March 5.
The game of the season might be Jan. 29 in Champaign when Ayo and Kofi go up against Iowa and Luka Garza. Feb. 6 (Champaign) and Feb. 27 (Madison) are the Illini’s two chances to extend their winning streak against the Badgers.
Here’s the full slate.
