Illinois wide receiver Dominic Stampley announced his decision to transfer from the university on Monday night via his Twitter account.

Stampley, a Champaign Centennial product, played one season at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas before transferring home to play at Illinois and will have one year of eligibility remaining as a graduate senior.
In his two seasons in Champaign, Stampley caught 28 passes for 412 yards and two touchdowns. His production took a hit from his sophomore to junior year, catching just nine passes for 101 yards this past season.
