If Illinois wants its run game to continue improving and performing at the top levels in the country, you need to keep building depth at the offensive line.
The Illini did just that Sunday night, picking up a commitment from three-star OL Kevin Tyler, who announced his decision on Twitter.

The 6-foot-5, 295-pound Tyler is a native of Saint Louis. He currently attends Ritenour High School.
Per 247, he is ranked the 121st-best OT and the 24th-best player in Missouri in the 2020 class.
Offensive line coach Bob McClain and tight ends coach (and St. Louis recruiting god) Corey Patterson led the charge for Tyler. He also had offers from Kansas, Indiana and Kansas State, among others.
Here’s Tyler’s junior season highlights.
