Meyers Leonard nearly single-handedly beat the Golden State Warriors in the playoffs this season.
Now, with a Woj bomb, the only former Illini currently in the NBA is headed to the Miami Heat.
Miami is finalizing a trade to send center Hassan Whiteside to Portland for Mo Harkless and Meyers Leonard, league sources tell ESPN.

Miami is trading center Hassan Whiteside to Portland for Leonard and Mo Harkless.
The Heat also added Jimmy Butler in a sign-and-trade with the 76ers on Sunday.
Leonard was drafted in the 2012 by the Trailblazers, and he peaked in the 2015-16 season when he started 10 games and averaged 8.4 points. But he never really reached his potential on a very talented Portland team, dropping to as few as 7.7 minutes per game in 2017-18.
Now, with a change of scenery (and coming off a few big playoff games), maybe Meyers will be able to show the NBA what Illini fans saw earlier this decade.
