McLaughlin joined the Illini back in 2014 as a walk-on and left as the conference’s top kicker. He was the recipient of the 2019 Bakken-Anderson Big Ten Kicker of the Year award and was also named an All-Big Ten First Team selection.
The Cypress, Texas native finished his career a perfect 79 of 79 on extra point attempts, first in school history with five 50-plus yard field goal conversions, fourth in field goals made, and fourth in field goal accuracy. His longest career field goal made was 54 yards against Western Illinois last season.
Best of luck, Chase!
