The transfer market has been up and down for Illinois this offseason.
This is a big up.
USC defensive end Oluwole Betiku Jr. announced his transfer to Illinois on Twitter on Thursday afternoon.
Words can’t describe how excited I am to be a part the Fighting Illini football team. I can’t wait to get to work. #LittyVille pic.twitter.com/RCqsUdt0dY

The 6-foot-3, 240-pound Betiku is going to be a monster opposite of Bobby Roundtree and was a top commit for the Trojans back in 2016.
He will have two years of eligibility remaining. Betiku redshirted the past season after hip surgery and didn’t play much as an underclassman.
