Linebacker Jake Hansen forced a fumble to give Illinois the ball in the fourth quarter. Matt Robinson took that opportunity to score what everyone thought was a touchdown, but it ended up being overturned.
Illinois didn’t stop there.
Dre Brown ran the ball back in from the 1-yard line and scored a touchdown, following it up with a 2-point conversion.
Brown’s score rejuvenated the crowd and put the nation on upset watch.
Dre Brown. To the House. X 2 @DreBrown27 runs in for the touchdown and two-point conversion.
