Senior Alex Wittinger put up 14 points and 13 rebounds, earning her fifth double-double of the season (31st career).

January 20: Iowa 94, Illinois 75
Illinois hosted the Hawkeyes for the annual pack the house game on Sunday afternoon. Four Illini scored in double-digits: Brandi Beasley (21 points), Wittinger (20), Scott (15) and Cierra Rice (11). Beasley lead with six assists and had a total four steals, Beasley led the Illini in points, and is just 4 points away from hitting the 1,000 career point mark.

Illinois went 5-of-5 from the foul line, and set a season high in attendance with 3,019 fans.
What’s Next:
The Illini will travel to Michigan State to play Thursday night and then return home to host Northwestern on Jan. 27.
And they’re still stuck on one Big Ten win since March 1, 2017. At least they got one, right?
