After a rocky start in week one against Kent State, the Illini continue to struggle out of the gate against Western Illinois.
Senior quarterback A.J. Bush was a bright spot for Illinois last weekend, rushing for over 100 yards, but he was forced to leave early in the second quarter, struggling to get up after a roughing the passer penalty. Freshmen M.J. Rivers is now under center.
We will update with more information on Bush’s injury as it becomes available.
