Illinois added another 2019 football commit this weekend with Seth Coleman’s commitment on Sunday afternoon via Twitter.
Coleman, a weak-side defensive end from Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy in Melbourne, Florida, chose Illinois over South Florida, Florida A&M and Florida Atlantic, among others.

At 6-foot-5, Coleman is long and — with Illinois adding depth at its defensive line over a series of classes — should be able to redshirt his freshman year and be able to grow.
To Illini Inquirer’s Jeremy Werner, Coleman spoke highly of Illinois’ new defensive line coach, Austin Clark.
“He’s a great coach,” Coleman said. “I like him so far. We’ve been talking back and forth during the week.”
Illinois was the first Power Five school to offer Coleman, and he is the Illini’s first commit from Florida in the growing 2019 class.
Coleman had just visited Illinois over the weekend.
