Football season is right around the corner, and the Illini announced their training camp schedule Thursday morning.
Camp will run with 14 practices from Aug. 3-18, with no practice on Sunday, Aug. 5 or Aug. 12.
All of the practices are held at the Campus Rec fields on campus again, instead of the team traveling to ‘Camp Rantoul.’ The practices are open to the public and free to attend.
The final practice on Saturday, Aug. 18 will be held inside Memorial Stadium as Fan Appreciation Day.
TCR’s preseason football coverage will begin on Monday, Aug. 6, so we’ll be gearing up for the season as the team does, too!
