Tanner Roark, P, Washington Nationals
Since our last update, Roark has gone 1-2 in two starts and a relief appearance. Both losses came against the Braves, including a game where he gave up seven hits and four earns over 6.2 innings, along with a relief appearance where he only managed to get one out, despite giving up two runs.
Roark had a strong game against the Tampa Bay Rays however, picking up the win in six innings, having only given up two runs.
On the season, Roark has a 3-6 record, a 3.56 ERA, and 65 strikeouts over 78.1 total innings pitched.
Tyler Jay, P, Chattanooga Lookouts (MIN - AA)
In Jay’s last four relief appearances, spanning over 7.1 innings, he has given up four runs in games that were all no-decisions.
His ERA now sits at 2.81, with a 1-1 record and one save.
Jason Goldstein, C, Stockton Ports (OAK - A Adv)
Goldstein has been pretty quiet since our last update, but spent five days on Oakland’s Triple-A squad, the Nashville Sounds, before returning to Stockton. He played in one games for the Sounds, being walked in his only plate appearance.
Pat McInerney, 1B, Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (MIL - A)
McInerney has maintained a presence in the lineup for the Timber Rattlers, going 6-for-27 with one RBI since May 28.
His average now sits at .233, while he is slugging .430.
