The Champaign Room is part of SB Nation, which when written out means “Sports Blog Nation.” Blogs should be fun, especially when it’s about sports. So, our sports blog should be fun and written by fans.
Good news.
Our staff deeply cares about the Illini, and we’re going to share that passion with you over the next few weeks. As we gear up for training camp and another year of Illinois Athletics, we want to tell you some stories about how we became a fan.
Every weekday over the next three we’ll have a staff writer share their story about why they started following the Illini, and we want you to share your stories too! You can share in a Fanpost, tweet at us (@Champaign_Room) or comment on our writers’ posts!
However you interact, we want you to know that we’re just as passionate as you when it comes to covering the Illini, and that’s the grind we’re going to come with all of next year.
