Illinois Softball did not hear its name called during the NCAA Tournament selection show on Sunday night.
The Illini had made the tourney in two straight years, and lost in the Lexington Regional last year to Kentucky.
Illinois finished the regular season 37-18 with a 13-8 mark in conference play. The Illini fell in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament to Indiana on Friday night after the Hoosiers hit a walk-off home run in the 2-1 victory.
