Every week The Champaign Room’s Twitter account, @Champaign_Room, tweets out a question asking for your opinion on something, a ‘pulse’ of Illini nation.
Since the Philadelphia Eagles took care of the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII and won their biggest game in franchise history, we figured we’d find out what the biggest win in Illinois athletics history was.
Here are some of the best answers.
Arizona (2005) and Ohio State (2007)
Arizona 2005

Most memorable is Arizona 2005. Biggest hasn't happened yet.

Juice going into Columbus was a monumental win. Sadly, just didn't translate to future success.

Illinois vs Ohio State in ‘07 or the comeback win against Arizona in ‘05.
And for some of the older victories.
Has to be 64 Rose Bowl. But lesser football option could be 1983 beating Northwestern to become the only team in the Big Ten to beat all 9 teams in a season. (when the league was a 10 team league)

1924 Illini over Michigan. Grange goes off

And how can we forget the huge #Illinutgers wins.
Every #Illinutgers win ever.
