CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Illinois will be without arguably their best player Tuesday night against the Georgetown Hoyas reports Derek Piper of Illini Inquirer.

Trent Frazier was diagnosed with a concussion he sustained at the end of Monday’s practice.

Frazier was named to the All-Big Ten Freshmen Team last year after posting averages of 12.5 points and 3.1 assists per game. He is one of just four returners from last season’s 14-18 team.

His absence will hurt the Illini as Frazier has been the catalyst for the team since he stepped on campus last year. Players like Andres Feliz, Ayo Dosunmu, Da’Monte Williams, and Alan Griffin should all see an increase in their minutes tonight against a young Georgetown team.
