Illinois Football has announced the kickoff times for the first two games of the season. The Fighting Illini will host Ball State to open the year on September 2 at 11 AM CST on the Big Ten Network.
BTN will also carry Illinois’ second game of the year, now a prime time 7 PM CST game against Western Kentucky on September 9. This matchup now marks the first of three straight primetime games for Illinois.
Illinois will visit Tampa to play USF at 6 PM CST in Week 3 on ESPN to end non-conference play. Illinois will then open Big Ten play under the lights at Memorial Stadium on Friday, September 29 at 7 PM CST to face the Cornhuskers; that game will be aired on FS1.
7 out of 12 Illini games now have kickoff times. The remaining starts will be announced during the season.
