Here’s an update on the Illini who played this weekend!

Michael Hoomanawanui

Hoomanawanui had one reception for zero yards in the Saints’ 31-21 win over the Panthers.

Hardy Nickerson Jr.

Nickerson recorded one assisted tackle in the Bengals’ 23-20 loss to the Steelers.

Hardy’s dad, Hardy Nickerson (Illinois’ defensive coordinator), was at the game!

Dawuane Smoot

Smoot recorded one assisted tackle in the Jaguars’ 30-10 win over the Colts.

Overall, the Illini alums continue to see less and less playing time as the NFL season draws to a close.
