Illinois target Tevian Jones continues to go off in his senior season for Culver City. Jones, a 6-foot-6 small forward, scored 47 points in a quadruple overtime game Wednesday night.
Just watched 2018 available Tevian Jones score 47 points in a quadruple overtime game. Physically gifted wing. Made a bunch of 3's & mid-range pull-ups.

Illinois basketball only has one current commit/signee in the 2018 class (Morgan Park point guard Ayo Dosunmu).
Dosunmu has had a few very, very impressive games recently, scoring 61 points last week at the Tarkanian Classic.
But the five-star point guard is doing more than just scoring as of late — he’s potentially becoming Illinois’ top recruiter.

While Jones may not bring the interior depth that fans and head coach Brad Underwood is still looking for in the 2018 class, a strong four-star scorer is never a bad thing to add to your roster.
According to 247, Jones is still strongly considering Cincinnati, Connecticut and Xavier, but if Dosunmu has any say, Jones will be signing with Champaign in the spring.
