Kerby Joseph signs with Illinois

Orlando cornerback Kerby Joseph signed with Illinois on Wednesday night during the first day of the Early Signing Period.

Joseph, at 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, has been on the Illini’s radio, according to a 247 article, but Illinois’ staff wasn’t sure if they would have a place for him. Finally, on Wednesday night, Joseph was able to officially sign with Lovie Smith’s team.

Joseph had a home visit with Illinois’ staff on Dec. 12.
