Edwin Carter signs with Illinois

Edwin Carter signed with Illinois on Wednesday in the first day of the Early Signing Period.

Carter, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound wide receiver, is from Jacksonville, Florida. He is rated as a three-star wideout, according to 247.

Illinois was Carter’s first Power Five offer.

He committed to Illinois on Dec. 11 via a tweet.
