Ware, a 6-foot, 190-pound defensive back, is a three-star recruit from El Cerrito, California.

Carter, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound wide receiver, is from the opposite side of the country: Jacksonville, Florida.
Illinois was Carter’s first Power Five offer.
Lovie Smith and his staff now have 15 commitments in the 2018 class.
There is an early December signing period this season on Dec. 20. It will be interesting to see how many of these commits sign early with the Illini.
