Odenigbo is the fifth Illini to transfer from the program since Monday afternoon. He is the third member of Hardy Nickerson’s defense to transfer, along with Pat Nelson and Tre Watson.
He had a career-high six tackles at Minnesota this season. The junior also forced one fumble against Ball State, appearing in 10 total games in 2017. He redshirted his 2014 season.
Odenigbo was ejected in his final game as an Illini against Northwestern for throwing a flag back at the referee.
