Three-star power forward George Conditt committed to Iowa State on Monday afternoon. Conditt is the third commitment in the Cyclones’ 2018 class.
The Chicago native also considered Illinois in his final three schools.
Conditt is listed on Scout.com as 6-foot-10 and 200 pounds. While lightly recruited his first few years of high school, Conditt was offered by several mid- and high-major programs in recent months.
Conditt visited Illinois on Sept. 15 and was extended an offer in early June. He visited Iowa State on Sept. 2.
Illinois currently has no commitments in the upcoming class.
The Illini are still in the conversation to receive commitments from Landers Nolley, Ayo Dosunmu, Colin Castleton and Talen Horton-Tucker in the class of 2018.
