Chicago Cubs World Series Trophy coming to Champaign for Illinois vs. Minnesota

The Chicago Cubs Trophy Tour recently announced some new stops.

Great news, Cubs fans! You’ll soon have a chance to take your picture with the 2016 Commissioner’s Trophy. The Chicago Cubs recently announced several new trophy tour stops, including one on February 4 at the State Farm Center during Illinois’ basketball game against Minnesota.

According to the press release, the trophy will be available for complimentary photographs for all basketball ticket holders from 1:30pm - 3:00pm.

“The Commissioner’s Trophy will be displayed inside the Mannie Jackson Illinois Basketball Hall of Fame from 1:30- 3 p.m. Fighting Illini basketball ticket holders for the Feb. 4 game against Minnesota who want to have their photo taken with the trophy will que at the Upper Southwest Entrance to SFC, with doors opening at 1:30 pm. The first 500 fans with game tickets will receive a wristband to ensure their ability to see and take photos with the trophy. Additional fans will be accommodated if time permits. Upon arrival at the entrance doors, notify event staff for ADA accommodations.”
