The Illinois Fighting Illini (1-1) officially opened as a slim 1-point favorite over Western Michigan (2-0), however the line has quickly shifted in the opposite direction. According to VegasInsiders.com, the Broncos are currently designated as a 3.5-point favorite for next Saturday’s game in Champaign.
Correction: Looks like it opened at Illinois (-1), but the line has already moved to WMU (-3.5)

Western Michigan has already beat Northwestern so this probably shouldn’t be the most surprising development ever. Advanced stats are painting a slightly different picture, though, as Illinois has been given a 58% chance of victory (projected score of 28.7 - 25.2).
