John Groce and Fighting Illini basketball tested out one of their new recruiting tools on Saturday afternoon! Four-star point guard Trent Frazier is in town for an official visit, and the caravan of coaches and family members stopped by Memorial Stadium to watch football training camp.
That move allowed Frazier, a Florida native, an opportunity to meet with former Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Lovie Smith!

Dee Brown is also accompanying the group thanks to his new role as the program’s Director of Player Development. While he’s still unable to contribute in off-campus efforts, there aren’t any NCAA rules preventing contact on campus.
