Only a week after announcing his top five schools, former Iowa commit Juan Harris is down to three teams. The three-star defensive lineman is now considering Illinois, Indiana, and Minnesota; Michigan State and Penn State were the two programs to be eliminated. Harris also added that he'll be making a commitment "soon."

Depending on which recruiting website you look at, Harris ranges anywhere from a two-star to a four-star prospect. The 247Sports' composite rankings have the 6-foot-4, 370-pound lineman slotted as the No. 820 overall player (three-star territory) in the class-of-2017.
Harris participated in Illinois' Chicago satellite camp on June 3, and that was likely a factor in his most recent decommitment from Iowa. That decision marked the third such time that Harris had a change of heart with the Hawkeyes.
