One of Fighting Illini basketball's top targets will be visiting Champaign sometime next week. According to Zach Osterman, five-star point guard Paul Scruggs (Southport, IN) will be on hand for a campus visit. An exact date for the trip has yet to be reported.

The 6-foot-4 prospect is the No. 25 player in 247Sports' class-of-2017 rankings; the composite rankings, however, have him at No. 31 overall, which is technically four-star range. Scruggs narrowed his list to eight schools at the end of May, and he's recently been working on setting up a string of campus visits.
