According to his Twitter account, three-star running back Tayon Fleet-Davis (Oxon Hill, MD) is the latest class-of-2017 scholarship offer for Lovie Smith and the Fighting Illini. The 6-foot, 211-pound back is rated as the No. 633 overall prospect by 247Sports' composite rankings.

Scouting Report (via Scout.com)
Fleet-Davis is a big-bodied, between the tackles running back but he can also get to the outside. His strength, though, is running inside. He runs balanced and with good vision. He sees the play as it sets up, and is able to set up defenders before making a subtle move. He needs to improve his cut-back ability but he has quick feet for a back his size. He also accelerates well and is patient in letting his blocks develop. Fleet-Davis is also a pass-catching threat and once he is in the open field, he is a chore to tackle.
Highlights
Illinois needs to start working on a replacement for KeShawn Vaughn, who will be a junior by the time this next recruiting class hits campus. The program is already razor-thin in the backfield, as redshirt-freshman Reggie Corbin and redshirt-junior Kendrick Foster are pretty much the only other healthy options they have going forward.
