REPORT: Illinois guard Mike LaTulip transferring to Wright State

The fan-favorite will play his final season elsewhere.

According to CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein, Fighting Illini guard Mike LaTulip is transferring to Wright State for his final collegiate season. The senior walk-on redshirted during the 2015-16 season, so he'll be immediately eligible for the Raiders this Fall after graduating.

In limited playing time as a junior, LaTulip shot 46.2% from the field (44.4% 3PT) while averaging 1.5 points per game. LaTulip's best game as an Illini came back in November of 2014, when he scored 9 points in a winning effort against Austin Peay.

LaTulip has always been a talented shooter so he should have plenty of opportunities to contribute at Wright State.

Good luck, Mike! We'll be rooting for you.
