The Big Ten Conference announced 2016 Homecoming kickoff times on Wednesday morning, and Illinois' October 29 matchup against Minnesota has been slated for an 11:00am CT start. The television network will be announced at a later date, but it'll likely be carried by BTN.

Illinois has played Minnesota 18 times for Homecoming. The most recent matchup came in 2014, when the Illini captured a big 28-24 victory over the Golden Gophers.

Your eyes do not deceive you. Including their own, Illinois will be participating in five (!!) Homecoming games this Fall. That seems pretty bizarre! But putting potential #DISRESPECT aside, this is pretty great news because three of those games have been assigned 2:30pm CT slots. That means there's a chance the Fighting Illini will be playing on ESPN and/or ABC a few times.
