As many of you may or may not be aware, this past weekend was the first Spring evaluation period of the college basketball recruiting calendar. Coaches from across the country flocked to Brooklyn (Nike EYBL), New York (Under Armour Association), and Dallas (Adidas Gauntlet) to watch the top prospects in the country.
The events also gave reporters some great opportunities to catch up with recruits.
During a brief interview with HoopSeen's Garrett Tucker, four-star point guard Trent Frazier (West Palm Beach, FL) named Illinois as the leader in his recruitment. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound Wellington product is rated as the No. 106 overall player in 247Sports' class-of-2017 composite rankings.
According to Scout, Frazier currently holds other scholarship offers from Baylor, Florida, Kansas State, Mississippi State, Stephen F. Austin, and UCF.
