Iowa State, Auburn, and Ohio have offered scholarships to Lewis, and other programs such as Wisconsin and Marquette have recently expressed interest.
Lewis was named the 2015-16 Co-Player of the Year in the Milwaukee City Conference after averaging 21.9 points and 10.0 rebounds per game.
Illinois is expected to have three more available scholarships for the 2017-18 season, but that number may decrease to two depending on how John Groce addresses the open 2016-17 roster slot.
