Isaiah Martinez advanced to the 157lb National Championship match with a sudden-victory win over Kent State's Ian Miller. The two wrestled to a draw through three periods, but Martinez put the match away with a takedown in overtime. Penn State's Jason Nolf is now all that remains between Martinez and the national title. Nolf pinned Martinez in Champaign earlier this year but Martinez won a 2OT marathon in the Big Ten Tournament. I'd expect this match to be scheduled last tomorrow night, as it is the most anticipated bout of the whole tournament.
